I Turned on the Radio

Well I turned on the radio
The songs they were playing
Could have been
From fifty years ago
All about heart ache
All about heart break
Cheating and telling lies
They are sad enough
To make a grown man cry

But now there is no more Waylon
No more Johnny Cash
No more songs
From the man
All dressed in black

But country singers
Are still going to sing
Banjo pickers
Still going to make
Their banjos ring

No more Waylon
No more Johnny Cash
No more songs
From the man
All dressed in black

Country singers
Are still going to sing
Banjo pickers
Still going to make
Their banjos ring
