Sweet Temptation

It’s another Monday morning
Things are pretty much the same
I’m looking out the window
Just to see what I can see
And I see sweet temptation
Just looking back at me

She’s standing in her garden
Cigarette and coffee in her hands
And I know
She knows I’m looking
Because that’s the way I am

It’s a slippery slope
I’m standing on
I hope that I won’t fall
I’m looking out the window
Just to see what I can see
And I see sweet temptation
Looking back at me

She is standing in her garden
Wearing just a little more than a smile
I know that I should turn away
And leave this vision alone

It’s a slippery slope
I’m standing on
I hope that I won’t fall
I’m looking out the window
Just to see what I can see
And I see sweet temptation
Looking back at me
