dreamed full summer dreams,
though snow lay deep, cold, within its depths. Fauns frolicked, nibbling grassy green.
Flowers sprung myriad coloured blooms.
Oft blue sky, deep
touched not hearts with gloom.
On wings of
feathers shimmering, birds of many races flew.
Crows, eagles, robins starling, tiny
humming birds, to
mention just a
danced on ponds of lily
over rivers, streaming
diamond brilliance, dimmed fireflies,
flashing in June’s, soft
enchanted songs, crickets, quick
hollow logs boomed
Wind howled outside our cabin small. Snug as ruged up bugs
window panes. Frost feathers gleam in
Flames dance in
Disturbed, we toss a little
turn, then, once
more dressed with
dreamed full summer dreams.
